Nestled in the midst of Camden County, Voorhees claims an expanding suburban community rich with history and bustling with opportunity.
A site of early colonial settlers, Voorhees proved to be an important destination as the railroad arrived in 1854, which helped connect Philadelphia to the East coast. This addition helped transform the once agriculture-based township to what has become an ever-emerging role player in South Jersey.
Today, the population has risen to just over 28,000 with one of the highest median family incomes in the region. The PATCO high speed rail claims three stops in the township as well.
Just 20 miles east of Philadelphia, 91 miles south of New York City and 147 miles north of Washington, DC, Voorhees maintains a suburban feel while providing access to major cities on the Eastern Seaboard.
